Health on the Horizon

Key Takeaways
- Know and Grow Your Goals: Identify what your goal is and your why. This is the first step.
- Change Your Perspective: When I thought about movement as a daily thing that I could include as a part of my lifestyle, I was able to achieve my goal. The other day, I took my sons to a missions event where they were serving communities. While they were serving, I chose to wait for them. I saw it as an opportunity to achieve my health goals, so I walked over a mile in the parking lot. The parking lot was so good to me, there were inclines, steps, trees and friendly people walking by – encouraging me, making me smile along the way. There were also signs showing me more about my future self and motivating me to keep going.
- Get Involved with Your Community: Community events held by reputable organizations including local churches, health insurance companies, networks and organizations with a mission and reputation that serves everyone, will help you to achieve your health goals.
